Bio (Narcissus) was filmed at the James G. Kaskey Memorial Park, also known as the Biopond, at the University of Pennsylvania. The pond was originally built in 1897 by the Department of Botany as a scientific research garden to be studied by students and faculty. Over time, it grew popular as a destination for recreation and gatherings. It has since become a public park. Though no longer used for research, it remains surrounded by the university’s Biology and Life Sciences laboratories.
